Toolshed Ministries was established in 2003 by Michael Welch, to provide a central place for people in spiritual, financial crisis to come for help. Today, Toolshed Ministries continues to alleviate the effects of poverty, substance abuse on the lives of Metropolitan Atlanta citizens through a variety of programs.

In addition, we have included a program that focuses on at-risk youth. (Youth With Purpose) offers one of the most unique and needs based approach to youth and community development for at-risk youth and families: A low to no cost After School Sports Program utilizing the schools, community and volunteers. By providing after school sports and activities, will help cut down on 3-7pm Juvenile Crime rates, help working parents with childcare, encourage youth to achieve in and out side of the class room, provide physical fitness to help cut down on growing childhood obesity and help build a stronger connection between peers, community, schools, positive adult to youth interaction and best of all help build or rebuild a stronger community foundation.
